About the Chefs
Chef Chan Sze Ling

Chef Chan Sze Ling is the Chef de Cuisine of The Racing Club. An internationally-awarded chef from Hong Kong, he has a passion for excellence and a drive to impress with creative dishes. He has worked and developed his talent within the Club since 2007, and was the Chef de Cuisine of The Chalk at Happy Valley Racecourse and Owners Box (Western cuisine) at Sha Tin Racecourse.

Chef Chan has an extensive array of accolades, having entered and won a number of International culinary competitions representing himself, the Club and Hong Kong on the international stage. In 2013, he was a member of the Hong Kong national team that became overall champions and won gold medals in Live Cooking and Culinary Art at Salon Culinaire Mondial held in Basel, Switzerland. In 2014, he again was part of the national team that won gold and silver medals in the FHA Culinary Challenge and the Culinary World Cup. Prior to joining the Club, he had extensive experience in various international hotels, including InterContinental Hong Kong and Langham Hotel.

With his passion, Chef Chan hopes to bring Members the exciting cuisine, created with his considerable talent and professional skills honed over a 20-year career.
